So much has changed with the house search. Our real estate agent wanted us to look at a couple more houses because our originally offer was taking such a long time to be approved. So we took a look at a couple of houses and decided that we liked one well enough to rescind our offer on the other house. We did, and our new offer was accept. Then there was a whirlwind of paperwork to fill out and an inspection last Friday, which meant more paperwork over the weekend. Then today...nothing. No calls or emails from either our real estage agent or our loan processor. I am sure it is not a bad thing, but after so much activity...it feels a little weird not talking to anyone about our purchase.

This house has so much character and I am happy that we found it. Andy and I spent this weekend picking out paint colors and daydreaming about furniture and appliances. We had a good time finally letting ourselves be excited about buying a house and making it ours.
Can't wait till we get the keys. Our closing date is November 18th. Seems so far away, but I am sure it will be here in no time.

Wow that feels fast. Last time I talked to you it was endless waiting and now you have a house. Makes me excited for you and slightly envious at the same time. I like the look of that living room too.
