Friday night: I took Kate and Lindsay out to dinner because they did such a fantasic job on the Ladies Luau. I wanted to thank them, so we went to the new Spaghetti Factory in Tukwila. We had a great time, plus Kate and I got free glasses to take home because order (very authentic) Italian sodas. We then went over to my parents' house where my dad was having a bonfire. We stayed there for a while laughing and bitching about life, which is always a good way to wind down from a crazy week.
Saturday: My mom, sister, Kate and I went to Ballard. There is a store in Ballard that I wanted to check out, but we got side-tracked by Cupcake Royale. So after a quick cupcake (or two) we got back on track and went and rented some parasols for the wedding. Bella Umbrella in Ballard is a cute little store and the owner there was so helpful! Saturday evening, Katherine and Stephanie came to visit me. Right before they got there, my mom called from downtown Burien to let me know that there was a cool street festival going and we should come check it out. So we did. The festival was called "Arts A-glow" and it was lantern themed. Everyone had a great time and some of the lanterns were amazing!
Sunday morning, Kat, Steph and I got up for some exercise and vegan french toast breakfast then they hit the road.
All in all a very fun and BUSY weekend.
