So we have put in an offer on a house. I really wish I could post pictures or share the link, but I don't want to jinx it. It is a short sale, so the process can take forever and the deal could fall apart at any moment. So mostly I am trying to save face because I don't want to be embarrassed if the deal doesn't happen.
However...I am totally in love with this house. It has 4 rooms, 1.5 baths, and a huge back yard! It is located in Des Moines, which is an area both Andy and I are in love with. There is no real work that we would have to put into the house right away. I mean, we do want to put in a ceiling fan and convert one of the rooms into a walk-in closet, but other than that the house is what people in the know call a "turn key." Basically the house is ready to go. I am trying not to get too excited, but it is hard not to start planning paint colors and artwork.
I really can't wait to share the information with people, because I am proud of the house and proud that Andy and I are able to make this step.

Short sales can be difficult, I hope this one goes smoothly for you! 4 bedrooms eh, does that mean more cats? :)
