So it occured to me today, that if everything goes according to plan (which will totally happen), I will earn my masters degree summer of 2012! Woot Woot! Then watch out world because...well I can't think of why the world would need to watch out, but I am sure it will have to for some reason. I am also working on a secret for grad school. I don't want to tell anyone in case it doesn't happen, but I can give a hint: Think meatballs belonging to a certain country. More to come.
In other news, my crochet skills are coming along nicely. In a couple weeks I have my first craft weekend planned with my mother in law. I am actually really excited for it. I have even picked out an easy pattern for some earwarmers that I am hoping she will help me with. I never understood how some of my friends could get so excited about yarn and things, but now that I have a hobby that includes yarn I totally get it. I am actually thinking of starting a crochet budget so that I can set aside money just for yarn! I am obsessed! Ooo! Maybe I can even go yarn shopping with my yarny friends.
And in even more news. Guess what happens next month! Any guesses? I pay off my car!!! (that totally deserves 3 exclamation points) Then I am going to be a responsible adult and use that money towards my credit card bill (thank you very much wedding). All this high financing is in hopes that (cross fingers) Andy and I can buy a house sometime soon. I think it is funny that the real reason we want to buy a house is because we want a yard for a dog or two. We have total dog lust. In fact we don't really allow ourselves to go into the pet store anymore because every time we go in, we get closer and closer to spending money we don't have on a dog we don't have the room for. Soon all the puppies will be mine...mine...MINE!!!
